J&J Gaming – First Terminal Operator at the Illinois State Fair
July 29, 2021 – J&J Ventures Gaming, LLC is the first terminal operator to be awarded the contract of providing Video Gaming Terminals (VGTs) at the 2021 Illinois State Fairs in both Springfield and DuQuoin. Springfield State Fair will run from August 12th – 22nd and DuQuoin State Fair from August 27th – September 6th. J&J Gaming is proud to partner with the Illinois Department of Agriculture, the Illinois Gaming Board, and Scientific Games to bring this new and exciting experience to fairgoers.
A total of 50 Video Gaming Terminals (VGTs) will be available for play across the Springfield State Fairgrounds at the following five locations: The Grandstand, The Shed, and at air-conditioned Gaming Units at each of the Coors Light, Bud Light, and Miller tents. Following this, J&J Gaming will also have 30 terminals at the DuQuoin State Fair at the Grandstand, and two J&J Gaming Units at the Beer Tent. Machines will be live for select hours each day, based on the liquor pouring license at each fair. ID Scanners will also be placed at the entrance of each gaming area to ensure patrons are of legal age, 21 and older. J&J Gaming is bringing even more opportunities to win at the State Fair this year! Enter in J&J’s Fair Frenzy, a $300/day cash giveaway, awarded to 11 patrons at each fair. The promotion will be running on a kiosk at each State Fair gaming area through J&J Gaming’s rewards program, Player PAYBACK™. In addition to the Fair Frenzy giveaway, patrons signing up on the rewards program will also be able to spin for J&J points and more prizes! The fun doesn’t stop there, the first 500 patrons to visit a J&J Gaming area at the State Fair will receive a complimentary promotional item.
