VFW Woodstock is a non-profit organization serving veterans and their families while promoting patriotism and video gaming in Woodstock and the surrounding communities. VFW Woodstock dates back to 1946 and World War II when veterans began work on establishing this post. The VFW was built on four pillars: service to veterans, service to youth and families, service to the community, and patriotism.

Food, Drinks, & Entertainment in Woodstock
VFW Woodstock patrons can enjoy a cool basement bar and video gaming center in the heart of Downtown Woodstock Square on Thropp Street.
The place features a beautiful solid wood bar amongst stone walls. It also has a lounge area with leather sofas surrounding a small fireplace. The sizable dining room holds over 60 people, and the entire establishment can accommodate about 220 guests. This space can be rented out to members and the general public for special occasions.
VFW Woodstock hosts plenty of their own events to raise money for veterans and their families including benefit outings, dinners, and dances. That being said, no matter the occasion, it’ll always feel like a party in the private gaming area. Here, guests can try their luck on any of the four gaming machines featuring dozens of games.
VFW Woodstock provides a place that their members can call home. All eligible veterans are encouraged to apply for membership at their local VFW so they can take advantage of the benefits and camaraderie this fraternal organization has to offer.
