The Video Gaming Act Rule 1800.350(c) states that the “provisions of the following goods and services, or payment for those goods and services, by a terminal operator to a video gaming location shall be expressly prohibited: 1) permanent construction or signage unless permitted by Section 1800.350(b).
J&J Gaming can generally have your new machines activated within 24 hours. Our goal is to prevent a loss in Illinois Gaming Revenue, and have your machines installed the same day your old machines are removed. With the help of Light & Wonder and the Illinois Gaming Board, we request the new Go Live date to be the following day.
The Illinois Gaming Board dictates how the Illinois gaming revenue is split between the state of Illinois, the local municipality, the licensed establishment, and the terminal operator. The Illinois Gaming board mandates that no terminal operator has control over the revenue share. At this time, the state receives 34% and the Terminal Operator accepts 32.54%. The licensed establishment will collect 32.54% of Illinois gaming revenue while Light & Wonder will earn exactly 0.92%.
