COVID-19 Mitigations Update – Regions have been moved to new tiers!

This change does not effect any gaming restrictions. For a constant update on regional metrics, please visit the Illinois Department of Public Health website here.

The breakdown of counties in each regions are as follows:

Region 1 (North) – Boone, Carroll, DeKalb, Jo Daviess, Lee, Ogle, Stephenson, Whiteside, Winnebago
Region 2 (North-Central) – Bureau, Fulton, Grundy, Henderson, Henry, Kendall, Knox, La Salle, Livingston, Marshall, McDonough, McLean, Mercer, Peoria, Rock Island, Stark, Tazewell, Warren, Woodford
Region 3 (West-Central) – Adams, Brown, Calhoun, Cass, Christian, Greene, Hancock, Jersey, Logan, Macoupin, Mason, Menard, Montgomery, Morgan, Pike, Sangamon, Schuyler, Scott

January 25, 2021 – Regions 1 and 2 will return to Phase 4 beginning January 26, 2021 at 8AM!

As a reminder, video gaming in establishments in Phase 4 is no longer time restricted. Food and beverage service is permitted. Masks must be worn at all times inside the video gaming area. Congregating around video gaming terminals is prohibited and there is a one person per video gaming terminal limitation. Existing social distancing, sanitizing and other mitigation protocols remain in effect.

Effective January 26th at 8AM, the status of the regions will be as follows:

Phase 4 Mitigations (VGTs on regular business hours, indoor service with capacity limits permitted):
Region 1
Region 2
Region 3
Region 5
Region 6

Phase 3 Tier 1 Mitigations (VGTs on from 8AM-11PM, indoor service with capacity limited permitted):
Region 7

Phase 3 Tier 2 Mitigations (VGTs on 8AM-11PM, no indoor service permitted):
Region 4
Region 8
Region 9
Region 10
