Video Gaming Resumption Announcement

January 14, 2021 – Exciting news! The Illinois Gaming Board has announced that licensed establishments in regions that the Illinois Department of Health releases out of Tier 3 mitigations will be able to resume with LIVE video gaming at 8am on Saturday, January 16, 2021.

Safety restrictions will still be in place. Video gaming at licensed establishments in Tier 1 and Tier 2 mitigation regions will be available from the hours of 8am-11pm daily. Food and drink service inside the video gaming is still suspended. Masks must be worn at all times within the gaming area and congregating in the gaming area is prohibited. Existing social distancing, sanitizing and other protocols and measures remain in effect.

Governor Pritzker will announce more details on which regions will be released tomorrow, Friday, January 15th.
