COVID-19 Update – Region 3 Has Been Added to the Mitigation Efforts
October 30, 2020 – Governor Pritzker and the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) are announcing COVID-19 resurgence mitigations will be implemented in Region 3, West-Central Illinois, beginning at 12:01 a.m. on Sunday, November 1, 2020. Video gaming operations at all licensed video gaming locations in Region 3 will be limited to the hours of 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM daily – with no exceptions. Food and beverage service in these locations is suspended, but outdoor service, curbside and carryout is still permitted.
Current restricted measures are triggered in all the below regions:
Region 1: Boone, Carroll, DeKalb, Jo Daviess, Lee, Ogle, Stephenson, Whiteside, and Winnebago
Region 3: Hancock, Adams, Pike, Calhoun, Jersey, Greene, Scott, Brown, Schuyler, Cass, Morgan, Macoupin, Montgomery, Christian, Sangamon, Logan, Menard, and Mason
Region 4: Bond, Clinton, Madison, Monroe, Randolph, St. Clair and Washington
Region 5: Alexander, Edwards, Franklin, Gallatin, Hamilton, Hardin, Jackson, Jefferson, Johnson, Marion, Massac, Perry, Pope, Pulaski, Saline, Union, Wabash, Wayne, White and Williamson.
Region 7: Kankakee and Will
Region 8: Du Page and Kane
Region 9: Lake and McHenry
Region 10: Cook
These regions will be re-evaluated every two weeks by the Illinois Gaming Board to see if restrictions can be lifted.
Please remember that you must wear a mask at all times inside the gaming area. Congregating around video gaming terminals is prohibited and there is a one person per video gaming terminal limitation.
